Cumbrian Codgers — Summer Outing to Bristol area

21st – 24th August 2019

This year’s summer outing is from the afternoon of Wednesday 21st August to lunchtime on Saturday 24th August. It is in the South Gloucestershire & Bristol area.

Wednesday 21st August:

3-4pm: Ashchurch St Nicholas

4.30-5.30pm: Tewkesbury Abbey (ringing for evening prayer)

Thursday 22nd:

10-11: Leonard Stanley St Swithun

12-1pm: Brimpsfield St Michael

3-4pm: Painswick St Mary

4.30-5.30pm: Stroud St Laurence

Friday 23rd (Bristol city centre):

10-11: Christchurch with St Ewen

11.15-12.15: St Stephen

14.00-15.00: Pip n Jay

Afternoon Tea in Bristol

18.00-19.00 (approx): Bristol Cathedral (Ringing at the end of evensong)

Saturday 24th:

10-11: Dursley St James the Great

11.30-12.30: Berkeley St Mary

I hope to see many of you this year - not least because there’s an array of scenic locations with interesting and historic churches lined up, quite a few of which are ten and twelve bell towers.

It’s not essential to to let me know if you are coming (for all or just part of the time), but I’d certainly appreciate it if you could!
