Especially arranged and rung immediately prior to the annual visit of the Woodchurch Morris Men - in the 25th year of their foundation - who performed to a thronged company outside the Shepherd & Crook Inn for an hour and then inside until a late hour.
Best thanks for the use of the bells, and get-well wishes from the band to Churchwarden Wood.
Also, to compliment the ringers of 1,5,6 (all Burmarsh residents) on their election as members of the KCA (Ashford District) on Saturday last, at their current home tower of New Romney, and birthday anniversary compliments to the Landlord of the Shepherd & Crook, Dave Parris, and also to Signor Glug-Glug, a longtime resident supporter of the ringers and village.
