Rung in memory of William E Thompsett.
'The “three blows” in sixths place is symbolic of the three emblems of Wales. The “Welsh Dragon” was introduced by the Romans as a military ensign. The origin of the “Welsh leek” is lost in legend but is associated with St David and with even earlier use as a druidic symbol. The “daffodil” is a more recent symbol popularised by Lloyd George who wore it on St David’s Day. Bill Thompsett always thought of Wales as God’s chosen country and it is appropriate this method was rung in his memory.
First peal in the method.
