Specially organised at the request of John Lee, of Hawkchurch, Devon in memory of Don Charlwood OAM, the Australian author of 'No Moon Tonight', his autobiographical book about his time flying out of RAF Elsham Wolds as a navigator on Avro Lancaster Bombers in World War II. Don Charlwood died in 2012. Also rung with the band's best wishes to John, currently in Axminster Hospital recovering from a serious road accident. This Variation is now rung for the first time.
