The above is the longest peal ever rung on ten bells in any method, and it may be added is the longest time that any set of ringers have stood to ring. Mr. J. Belcher, the captain of the local band, remained in the church the whole time as Umpire and attested the truth of the peal. This is the first peal of Grandsire Caters conducted by W.T. Pates.
