Rung to commemorate the deaths of four Alresford men who were killed in WW1 in April 1918:
Private Edward Marriner, 7th Battalion Somerset Light Infantry, died of wounds received at the battle around Roye on 1st April.
Private Herbert Edward Newman was killed on Kemmel Hill on April 15th, serving with the 6th Battalion Wiltshire Regiment.
Lance Corporal Frank Merrit perished in the Zeebrugge raid on April 23rd serving on HMS Vindictive.
Rifleman Norman William Mitchell was killed in action near Proyart on April 26th.
Also remembering Flight Lt. David Williams killed on March 23rd 2003 when his Tornado plane was shot down by friendly fire whilst coming into land back at Ali Al'salem airbase in Kuwait.
