Rung with the bells half muffled in memory of the following two Lincoln men killed in the Great War during February 1918. Specially rung to commemorate the centenary of their deaths, We will remember them.
ALBERT THOMAS DALEY, Private 2329, 2nd/4th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 2nd February 1918, aged 24.
ALBERT KELHAM, Private R4/066208, 4th Base Remount Depot, Army Service Corps. Died 15th February 1918, aged 30.

Honourable age does not depend on length of days, nor is the number of years a true measure of life.
They are all commemorated on the City War Memorial on the High Street.
