First whole peal in the method (according to Felstead).

A venerable old method (originally known as British Queen) outlawed by Law James & the Central Council in 1903 as being ‘illegitimate’ one of the forbidden methods in the early 20th century due to it not having Plain Bob lead ends (being irregular).

Rung at ‘the Church in the Woodland’ in anticipation of their annual Snowdrop Weekend (next weekend, 10th – 11th Feb) to celebrate the magnificent display of Snowdrops in the Churchyard.

Rung also to celebrate the recent births of Lennie Eric Bishop born 20th January 2018, son to Kate Bishop and Tom Ottaway and Grandson to John Ottaway,

and George Richard Reid born 14th January 2018, son to Ruth and Richard Reid and Grandson to David Whetton.
