Rung in memory of Rifleman George Eric Lister, Cleator Moor, Cumberland Association. Died 04/01/1918 age 19. The King's (Liverpool Regiment) 25th Bn. Service No.380415. Commemorated at Broughton Baptist Chapelyard, Cumberland, England, Grave near Chapel door. Born 3rd quarter 1898. Eldest of four children; all surviving at the 1911 census. Only son of Thomas Lister and Elizabeth Gertrude Lister of 6 Elm Terrace, Penrith. It is believed he was known as Eric. He was wounded in France on 30/09/1917 and died of those wounds at King George's Hospital, Stamford Street, London. Born: Brigham, nr Cockermouth. Enlisted: Frizington, Cumberland. Resided (1911 Census): Wolsley Terrace, Brigham, and later at Cleator Moor.
