Rung with the bells half-muffled in remembrance of Private Albert Victor Burdock, a ringer at Holy Trinity church and a member of the Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) 96th Coy., killed on 3rd December 1917, aged 20. He is commemorated at the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
