Rung half-muffled in memory of Sergeant Alfred Gentry of this Parish who died on this day in 1917 aged 27. Serving with the Machine Gun Corps, he was killed in action in the Battle of Cambrai. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Cambrai memorial.
