Rung half-muffled to the memory of Pte. 13497 John William Doy of 8th. Battalion, Norfolk Regiment, who gave his life for his country on 22nd October 1917. His body was never recovered for burial and thus is remembered on Stone No 34 of the Tyne Cot Memorial.
