This quarter peal was timed to coincide with Flying Scotsman passing Sampford Brett on the West Somerset Railway. This variation was first rung, composed, and named by Keith Beale, with Mervyn Arscott in the band, at Wootton Courtenay, Somerset, in 1968.

100th quarter at this tower for Giles, and first in variation for all.
