Specially arranged to mark the centenary of the death of Second Lieutenant Frederick Gordon Laverick, East Lancashire Regiment, 7th Battalion, who was killed on 23rd July 1917 and is buried at Klein-Vierstraat British Cemetery, Belgium. Frederick Laverick was a ringer at St. Hilda's church, Middlesbrough and lived at 57 Clive Road, Middlesbrough. He was married to Emma Laverick shortly before he died. St. Hilda's church was demolished in 1969 and the bells now hang dead in a frame opposite All Saints' church.
The band would like to thank Robert M Wood for organising and umpiring this peal.
