To mark the centenary of the death of Private David Ivor Brearley a Bolsterstone ringer killed in WW1 on the 14th May 1917. David's Father was in the first ever peal of Yorkshire Surpise Major in 1903. Some descendants of the Brearley family and local parishioners listened to the peal in the church.
