In memory of Corporal Ernest Charles Chivers, ringer at Midsomer Norton, Bath & Wells Diocesan. Died 24/04/1917 age 23. Somerset Light Infantry 1st Battalion. Commemorated at Etaples Military Cemetery, France, and on the war memorial in this church. Son of Frederick and Emma Chivers of Midsomer Norton. He worked as a shoe maker before enlisting.
