In memory of Corporal Ephraim Rabbitt of the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry who was killed at the Somme on 25th April 1917. Ephraim was born in Edwinstowe and lived with his parents Joseph and Hannah Rabbitt (nee Robinson) and brothers Walter and Lewis at Mill Lane Edwinstowe. He is buried in the Bucquoy Cemetery, Ficheux, Pas de Calais, France. His younger brother, Walter, was killed in 1918.
