The National Trust at Stourhead have been telling the story of Harry Hoare, only child of Sir Henry Hoare Bt and Alda Lady Hoare, over the last 3 years.  Harry joined the Queen's Own Dorset Yeomanry in July 1914 and served with them in the Near East.  He died in December 1917, having been wounded in the Battle of El Mughar Ridge on 13 November.  The NT asked us to ring to close this story on the 100th anniversary of the Battle.  The photo shows the ringers with Edward Hoare.
